In this 80-minute session, students will be introduced to the basics of R, the powerful, free computing environment for statistical analysis. This workshop will cover downloading and opening R & Rstudio, importing and managing data sets, installing R packages, conduct basic statistical analyses, and create simple graphical displays. Students are encouraged to bring their own laptop. (Using HGSE lab computers is optional.)
